Did you know that the fastest the Lucid Air will drive in reverse is around 12 to 13 miles per hour? I have not personally verified this, as I am still awaiting my own Lucid Air to arrive but the folks over in the Lucid Owners Forum said the max reverse speed was 12 miles per hour.
I did ask a Lucid Air owner with well over 10,000 miles on his Dream Edition to verify and he said it was 13 MPH:
@rustybrick U R such a “cool dude” 🏄🏽♂️🏌️, that I drove AFAIC in reverse to do a test 4 U. It’s 13 MPH.

I guess they don’t want people using the Lucid Air for quick getaways in reverse? One person said in the forums, “I recently came across an article where another brand added this “feature” as a safety mechanism to prevent people from wrecking their cars (in a major way) and for ped.”
