We’ve seen the Tesla Model S Plaid race the Lucid Air Dream Edition performance before and the Tesla won. But now here another race between the Tesla Model S Plaid versus a Lucid Air Dream Edition performance edition, and as you’d expect, the Tesla Model S Plaid won again.
To be fair, the Tesla Model S Plaid is a tri-motor setup, whereas all the current Lucid Air EVs are dual-motor. Lucid Motors is going to be making a tri-motor Lucid Air but they have not done so yet. Also, the Lucid Air weighs 5,236 lbs, and the Tesla weighs 4,766 lbs, so it is a lot heavier.
Here is the video of @Tesla2Lucid Lucid Air racing against the Tesla captured by Mase Goslin on Twitter:

So you know, Tesla2Lucid did a custom wrap for the event, this is his Lucid Air – Lucid did not loan it to him.
The Lucid community, including Tesla2Lucid, are discussing this in the Lucid Owners Forum.
