Lucid Motors has released version 1.2.7 of the Lucid Air vehicle software that adds and improves the cars software features, specifically improving the over-the-air (OTA) updates. The update comes about a month after version 1.2.6 and almost two months after version 1.2.5 was released. In v1.2.6 Lucid Motors added new languages, key fob improvements, traffic sign recognition, navigation, offline navigation mode, more interactive maps, improved range estimates, other navigation updates, and other minor updates. Version 1.2.5 added new languages, improves key fob, traffic sign recognition was added, and other minor updates.

In this new version, 1.2.7 Lucid Motors added onboard connectivity, diagnostics, and a wireless communications system to provide a better experience for over-the-air updates.

These OTA updates roll out slowly, one member in the Lucid Owners Forum posted he is updating now. He said the screen says “With this update, we’re delivering improvements for your Lucid Air’s onboard connectivity, diagnostics, and wireless communications system to provide a better experience for over-the-air updates.”

If I spot screenshots, I will update this story but for now, it seems like this is a super minor update to improve the over-the-air updates going forward.
