Most of those who buy a Lucid Air seem to be mailed the branded Blackwing pencils and nothing else. The early Dream Edition owners also received additional swag, from tote bags, cups and t-shirts – all of which you can purchase from the Lucid Merchandise Store if you are based in the US or Canada.
But some customers, customers that may have had a rough time with the final delivery of the car, for one reason or another, get not just swag but other gifts.
The photo above I found in the Lucid Owners Forum of one Lucid owner who said he had a lot of issues but Lucid tried to make it right with these additional gifts. He wrote last Friday, “Picked up my red Santa Cruz today. I can’t say the process was smooth. The payment logistics and getting the car were a horror show for many reasons, some not Lucid’s fault. They did try to make it up to me by loading me up with merchandise and both Billy Belke at the short hills and Noah at headquarters were very helpful and tried to smooth things over. The car needs a visit from mobile service ( one handle won’t present, piece of trim loose). On the trip home the radio went out, actually all sound but came back after parking. I drove home at night in a driving rain storm ( strangely did the same thing with my Z8 12 years ago). Happy that I finally have it.”
Yes, that is a $50 bottle of Veuve Clicquot’s Yellow Label Champagne brut – I believe.
