As part of the earnings release, Lucid Motors announced it will increase prices of the Lucid Air on June 1, 2022.
Lucid Air pricing changes are as follows:
- Grand Touring is going from $139,000 to $154,000 (up 10%)
- Touring is going from $95,000 to $107,400 (up 12%)
- Pure is going from $77,400 to $87,400 (up 12%)
The price for the new Lucid Air Grand Touring Performance model, announced just two weeks ago, will remain priced in the U.S. at $179,000.
Also adjusted pricing for options, such as the Glass Canopy, DreamDrive Pro, and Surreal Sound Pro, will soon be available on the Lucid website.
Personally, I am super happy I locked in the price for the Grand Touring and saved $15,000 there.
There is a question if the price is locked in for those who reserved or those who confirmed their orders. Jeff Curry from Twitter makes it sound like “reserved” is the important part?
Lucid posted the pricing change details over here and wrote:
For reservation holders: Despite this change, all reservation holders will have an opportunity to order their Lucid Airs at the original price reflected when they reserved.¹
For those considering a Lucid Air: You can still reserve at the current pricing until the end of the month. New pricing will go into effect on June 1, 2022.
But you have 30 days to order from your reservation date:
